Emily and Fin have an opportunity for a International Wholesale Sales Manager to join their friendly and vibrant team. An Internationally recognised and fast-growing brand, Emily and Fin are best known for their classic dresses and signature prints, all of which are designed in-house at their London studio and are stocked online and in stores worldwide.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for driving sales growth through our established accounts and by creating new opportunities. As the main representative for the brand you must clearly understand both the product and the individual target customer. You will have a good understanding of both the UK and International womenswear markets. Although mainly office-based the role will also involve national and international travel to maximise sales and brand recognition.

The Role

  • You will be responsible for driving sales and defining and developing our wholesale sales strategy to increase the brand’s recognition and create new opportunities
  • Building and maintaining global brand awareness
  • Identifying new sales opportunities and building relationships with potential new accounts
  • Conduct appointments from our showroom as well as visiting existing and potential customers to present the latest range to maximise stock sales and grow and maintain sales relationships
  • Book and manage UK and International tradeshows in line with the seasonal sales strategy
  • Manage and work with our established agents and distributers
  • Initiate new relationships with agents and distributers worldwide negotiating terms and agreements
  • Work with the Financial Controller and Company Directors to set budgets and targets
  • Actively sell current stock throughout the season liaising with team members re: stock levels, delivery windows, status of customer orders, payments, credit limits etc
  • Conduct seasonal sales analysis
  • Forecast sales and create pricing strategies
  • Work closely with the design and production team to strengthen the range based on feedback and your knowledge of the womenswear market

The Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum of 5 years of international sales experience in branded womenswear with an active network of contacts
  • Excellent relationship builder
  • Strategic focus
  • Team player
  • Strong analytical capabilities and good commercial instinct.  
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated, organised and attentive to detail
