Business Development Manager ( Fashion / Textiles ) West Midlands
EXCITING ROLE :
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager within the fashion / textile industry , due to the continued success and growth of our client . You will oversee the hospitality sector of the business where you will be responsible for the company's sales growth , identifying new business opportunities within this sector on a global scale. You will be expected to travel as and when required.
You will be a strong leader able to develop coherent messages to all internal and external stakeholders be the professional face of the company and come from a fashion / textiles background
You must have experience in preparing detailed tender responses and Presentations in line with the client ,,excellent organisation and management skills , ability to follow quality assurance and operational processes , very positive and "can do "attitude with a result orientated approach and strong will to win.
You will be culturally aware and tenacious yet structured in your approach to bring a real dynamism to the team and motivation to other team members.
Develop sales strategy for the business, within Hospitality sector.
Prepare detailed tender responses and presentations in line with client
Develop and roll out a tactical and operational plan to ensure sales programs and systems are fully aligned to the internal development and teams.
Deliver top line sales growth driven by increased leads and improved conversion, leading from the front to identify and secure key accounts in line with the current business plan budgets.
Hands on development of key business targets and the management and expansion of those accounts across EMEA, alongside Account Manager.
Assisting in the development of robust sales, market and valued added strategies to meet market and customer requirements and maximise customer revenue.
Implement a strong team ethic which draws on the synergies across and between clients ensuring opportunities to cross-sell are maximised.
identify gaps in and further develop a clear and concise sales process utilising internal systems
Create a strong bid platform and process to deliver a high bid success rate.
Implement current and best practice standards within the sales function and management teams thereafter.
Ensure ROI of Sales initiatives by effective measurement of results and value added.
Refine, develop and implement contractual agreement and pricing structures, with ongoing management and negotiation ensuring business profitability.
Effectively interact with other departments including the Account Management team when handling contract start-ups, ensuring they are briefed fully and correct in all aspects to the point of account.
