Sales Manager - Brand Wholesale
Our client is a legacy apparel brand with a strong footprint in the UK, USA and European markets (mid-market and luxury) retailing in Harrods and Harvey Nichols among others. Due to growth ambitions, our client is seeking a talented Sales Manager/Wholesale Manager to grow their wholesale brands business.
They already have a strong presence on the high street, hence the sales manager will be working with existing key accounts but at the same time will also be looking to expand into new accounts in the UK, Europe and US.
Sales manager/Wholesale Manager: the role:
You will be responsible for growing existing customer accounts across multi product areas ( menswear, womenswear, accessories) and also constantly striving to introduce new accounts to the business.
While sales is your key objective, you will also be a key stakeholder to managing and developing the brand, communicate the image , build core lines along with the Design Director and cross functionally work with stakeholders.
You will also be reporting directly to the board, hence strong analytical and reporting skills will be key.
Sales manager/Wholesale Manager: the person:
You will be a bright and motivated sales professional with a strong background in BRAND SALES, ideally within apparels (menswear/ ladieswear). This will suit someone who is entrepreneurial and ambitious and has a strong network in Europe and USA.
You will have a strong commercial track record in winning new business and growing existing accounts.
You could come from an established brand or from a start up, either way you would have had a strong international sales and business development experience.
You will also have strong reporting skills, forecasting and budgeting experience.
