We’re looking for a UK & DE Merchandising & Planning Analyst to join our growing global Merchandising & Planning team, bridging the gap between internal and external business functions. You’ll work closely with the sales, inventory, finance and product teams with the main objective of optimizing our account sales and minimizing the business terminal stock through strong analytical skills and new strategy development.

You’ll already have some experience in a similar role within fashion or footwear and you’ll be a self-starter – looking to bring new ideas and make an impact. You’ll be a strong communicator and have a knack for sharing data and information to your immediate and wider teams to maximum effect! An understanding of customer and stakeholder needs is key in this role, you’ll be able to deliver at pace contributing to the overall business strategy.

The Responsibilities:

  • Perform weekly reporting and market post-seasonal analysis to support forward planning and strategies
  • Liaise with sales accounts team and ground staff to review performance by customer and line, highlighting merchandising opportunities and support through ad hoc reporting
  • Collaborate with cross functional partners to evaluate and improve processes, maximize profitability and minimize risk
  • Responsible for market budgeting and tracking returns, discounts and special deals against forecast and contribute with ideas to regional growth
  • Work closely with inventory team to maximize FTS & replenishment business and align on ideal model stocks by selling channel 
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative financial analysis in order to support the wholesale team and ensure achievement of business plans
  • Take on special projects that enhance the merchandising and planning processes and/or lead to opportunities for increased profitability
  • Identifying market level opportunities to drive performance that increases sales or liquidates poor performers profitably, across a variety of partnerships including exit accounts

The Person:

  • Previous experience as a Planner, Merchandiser and/or Analyst
  • A self-starter who looks for introducing new processes and improving existing ones and can implement them with minimal support
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Organisational and timekeeping skills to manage workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of the brand
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Exceptional Excel skills along with other MS Office applications
  • Experience using a business intelligence tool (we use Tableau)
  • German language skills would be an advantage
