Sought by highly regarded FAMILY JEWELLERY business in EAST SUSSEX
Realistic bench rental and plenty of work!
This multi-award winning family-run jeweller, whose heritage is a source of much retrospective pride, has future plans that are even more exciting for all concerned!
Based in various store locations within East Sussex, their investment in store refurbishments to enhance their range of client services continues to gather pace.
A new Jewellery After-Sales Department has been commissioned within their flagship store, with multiple benches - fully fitted, tooled and equipped - providing an opportunity for our client to establish a mutually-beneficial working association with up to two experienced goldsmiths.
Equipped possibly to excess, they have on site a laser welder, a dedicated polishing room, and two complete sets of tooling ready for future customer service use. The workroom also boasts machinery that can facilitate jewellery engraving, allowing the personalisation of jewellery and associated merchandise, for that extra special touch.
Our client’s customers are well used to taking advantage of the full range of jewellery services on offer in this prestigious location, which offers for sale fine jewellery collections of their own design, as well as encouraging interest in bespoke specially-commissioned pieces to match buyers’ individual dreams.
Showroom visitors are not alone in benefiting from their range of services. The company offers a fully insured postal jewellery repair service, which affords access with confidence to those customers based further afield who are keen to harness the renowned in-house expertise of this business.
The proposition now is to harness the talents of either one full-time or two part-time fully-qualified and experienced freelance goldsmiths to take responsibility for the store’s growing bench work, ideally working in-house and utilising all the facilities on offer.
The perfect freelance partners in this venture would have the broadest possible bench expertise, allowing them to satisfy their ever-increasing jewellery making demands.
In return the business would provide a continuous flow of piece work at a fair and mutually-agreed rate of pay, in exchange for a modest monthly rental payment for the jeweller’s workspace and use of equipment second to none throughout the region.
So whether you can offer your services full or part-time to this much revered family jeweller, we would welcome sight of your CV on our selection bench!
