Job Type
To drive the team performance across every store in your region to support increasing sales within your Area to meet Company set targets.
Maximising sales and profitability of each store through commercial decision making
Accountable for the area P&L and its positive contribution to business
Manage all retail KPIs for each of your stores including ( but not limited to ) UPT, ATV, Profit, Stock loss, Controllable costs and payroll within Company objectives
To actively promote all digital initiatives in store that promote a better customer experience and regardless of how these impact on a store's p&l - including Ipad Sales, Web returns , One Stock Sales, Click and Collect.
To understand the role of digital in store and promote ideas for improvements in our customer experience online and in store
To liaise with Head Office departments on a regular basis to support store performance inc. HR, Retail Operations, Security, Buying, Stock Control Finance, Property and Marketing
Support store managers to deliver exceptional customer service throughout your stores
To communicate information to stores on a regular basis through emails, conference calls and area meetings.
Manage and support all recruitment, Induction, development and training of your management teams
Ongoing performance management of your team ensuring that talent is being nurtured.
Maintain ongoing communication with Area Manager colleagues and Omni Channel Director
Identify, assess, and inform the Director of any internal and external issues that affect the region.
To take an active role in Monday trade feedback and meetings
Lead by example by working shifts on the retail floor
Oversee the region's store marketing efforts and liaise with the central Marketing department to support stores
Develop and execute effective business strategies, market strategies and financial plans
Partner with the Training Department to roll out any training that may be required within your region
Proactively recruit for all open roles within your district
Assist with the formulation of company policies for the Retail Ops function.
