An exciting role for a Senior Ladieswear Designer for a young fashion brand in Manchester
Your new company
A popular and successful young, ladies fashion brand are looking for an experienced Senior Ladieswear Designer to join their team. They are Manchester based and boast a modern head office and are a fun, friendly and ambitious team.
Your new role
You will be working closely with the Design Manager and Director and be responsible for design, development and trends across ladies multi-product and keeping inline the brands identity. You will be key in creating trend boards, colour pallets and putting together fabrics and trims. The role will also include international travel to help source for products, design development and range building. You will help assist with the management of the team and range planning and also need to update and maintain the critical path and ensure deadlines are met. You will also work closely with other teams including sales and merchandising and be in attendance with customer meetings and fit sessions.
What you'll need to succeed
You need to be a Senior Ladieswear Designer and have at least 5 years' industry experience. You will also need to have a young, trend-led handwriting and have excellent design skills. You will need have managed a small team and have experience with international travel, ideally to China and India. They are needing someone who has good time management skills and is strong on Illustrator, Photoshop and Excel. You will also be positive, motivated and a hard-working Designer.
