We have partnered with a luxury hospitality brand currently seeking a diverse Retail Operations Manager to join the growing team.


Role Overview;

The role will be responsible for shaping the operational and logistics structure and managing the process for the Retail and logistics division.

The successful candidate will lead all operational and logistical activities and related projects for the Corporate Retail team and liaison with Resort Management across all properties worldwide. The role is also responsible for reviewing existing processes at property level and identifying opportunities to improve and set new standards.
This position will Report to the Head of Retail to advise and implement new retail processes, operations and policies.

Key Skills and Responsibilities;


Coordinate delivery scheduling with Buying team and communicate shipping dates to stores
Main liaison between suppliers, distribution center and shipping agents to find the most cost effective and time efficient options to process shipments to property level.
Work with local Purchasing, Finance department and Retail Managers in expediting shipments to individual properties.
Communicate with Finance on procedures for booking shipping costs and processing of invoices on an international basis.
Management of the shipping budget. Monitor freight costs and negotiate prices together with warehouse team.
Lead the launch of a new POS system in the Retail stores
Oversee Sales Reporting functionality
Inventory Management processes and reporting
Coordinate and manage stock-take activities and training for Retail Managers and support with preparation and process
Manage operational aspects of future store openings to support Head of Retail
Develop Standard Operational Manual for agreed Operational policies and procedures
Advise and influence property Retail and Finance managers to buy in on new policies and procedures.
Recap and review end of month Income statement reports to identify opportunities and challenges for Operational and other Retail related costs
E-commerce Support
Will liaison between E-Commerce team and buying team for selling information and re-orders/ inventory requirements

The successful candidate will;

Have a background in retail operations and logistics (minimum five years) and ideally within the fashion or luxury consumer products sectors
Ideally will have strong knowledge of store technologies and systems
Have experience in supporting the operational process as it pertains to organizational and departmental objectives
Great communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
A proven ability working in a fast- paced environment with pressure to meet deadlines
Have the ability to multi -task with excellent attention to details
Will be tenacious, assertive and determined attitude
Have a dedicated, hardworking and committed attitude, willing to invest long term
Will be strong in MS Excel
