We have partnered with a global fashion business currently recruiting a Russian Speaking Business Development Manager to oversee the Russian and CIS markets.

Key Responsibilities;

- Researching or utilising established relationships to initiate contact with prospective new stores through store visits, phone conversations, and emails

- Leading the contract negotiations process to ensure a successful long-term partnership and profitable relationship for both parties

- Maintaining progress reports on prospective boutiques (last contact date/conversations) and a plan on boutiques left to sign

- Constantly review and revise "selling points" and relevant collateral based on boutique feedback

- Monitor the onboarding of new partners, and then, ensure and maintain on-going relationships with boutiques by collaborating with Account Management and Partner Services to address any needs on either side (visits, conference calls, meetings etc.). You will liaise with other departments when necessary (Commercial P&A, Categories, Marketing, Integration, Operations Solutions…) and the Moscow office.

- Initiate quarterly check-ins with boutiques in alignment with Account Management and Partner Service/Success to ensure that expectations are being met (KPIs include sales, no stock rate, product quality and timeliness).

- following up closely specific technical developments and monitor logistics changes aspects for the Russian website.

The ideal candidate;

- Will have experience in sales related to high-end fashion apparel and accessories; designer wholesale experience or showroom experience preferred

- You will have experience building and maintaining relationships with clients/customers and knowledge of specialty stores/fashion boutiques in Russia and the CIS territories, possibly other territories such as EU, Eastern Europe or Baltics states

- You will have the ability to manage a deal lifecycle which may take up to several years (patience is a key attribute which will be required in managing this process)

- Must have fluency in Russian (native level) and English, professional competency of another European language is advantageous
