Sales / Account Manager ( Ladies / Mens fashion )
Due to continuing growth and success our client now requires an experienced self motivated Sales / Account Manager to join their team based in West Midlands. You will naturally be a team player ,have excellent communication skills , building strong client relationships with key suppliers. You Must be able to travel internationally as and when required. Must have a successful proven track record in Account management preferably within the garment / textile industry.
You will manage and develop new and existing business through identification , development and management of profitable clients within an identified market sector and on a global scale
To retain your portfolio of clients to an established KPI retention rate
Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring you have an in-depth understanding of the financial status of your portfolio including individual value, billing and contract renewal.
Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships through regular close contact account management which will include, where necessary, regular face to face meetings, telephone and email communication.
Establishing and maintaining strong supplier relationships with preferred partner, through regular close contact including, where necessary, face to face meetings, telephone, Skype and email communication.
Effectively interact with other departments including the sales team when handling contract start-ups, ensuring you are briefed fully and correctly in all aspects to the point of account manager handover.
Ensure any aspects of marketing requirements are managed accordingly with the internal support of relevant departments or outsourced agents.
Manage any adhoc/bespoke product requests, which may if necessary be required to be purchased from an external source. Ensure any incurred expense, which does not fall within the client agreement, related to the contract is recorded and re charged appropriately
Liaise accordingly with external courier services/customs agents utilised, ensuring all stakeholders are aware of any updates/restrictions/delays etc. Where direct contact is not possible, or not required liaise with relevant internal colleagues.
Ensure all purchase orders from clients are correct and concise and are raised and managed in a timely manner, whilst keeping all stakeholders aware of the progress within detailed reports.
