Looking for a driven individual from Sales or Buying background.  

Work for a luxury celebrity driven luxury womens athleisure brand.

Reporting direct to the Brand Manager, you will play vital role in setting-up and managing the Wholesale Function for lux athleisure women’s brand.  Work with the Brand Manager; establish the wholesale strategy and ensure that sales targets are achieved.  Identify, manage, develop and grow accounts within the business KPI’s. 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Adhere to the approved wholesale strategy suggesting new account/category opportunities – continuously looking for ways to improve and develop sales numbers
  • Be the primary contact for accounts/distributors
  • Develop and nurture account/distributor relationships
  • Work with Brand Manager to set critical path from account/distributor focus
  • Communicate critical path to accounts/distributors ensuring deadlines are met - sample order deadlines, sales launches/windows, order deadlines, delivery windows, etc.
  • Owning sales appt diary – booking and attending all sales appointments within the approved sales windows
  • Ownership of all in-house sales tools and samples
  • Report appointment minutes to Brand Manager
  • New account T&C negotiation within Brand KPI’s  - feedback any Vendor mandates through Production and Cust Care & Ops Functions
  • New account set-up – ensure all forms and documentation completed and shared in a timely manner so as not to delay trade
  • Share marketing plans with accounts/distributors
  • Work with in-house and account/distributor Marketing Functions seasonally to negotiate promotional activities and contributions to potentialize sales – build into critical path and share with Business Functions as required to meet agreed strategies
  • Liaise with in-house Marketing Function to ensure that all assets are shared within account/distributor critical path – gaining approval as directed
  • Liaising with Cust Care & Ops Function to ensure all orders raised and confirmed
  • Liaise with Cust Care & Ops Function to maintain account delivery schedules – ensuring accounts are kept informed throughout sampling/production process
  • Analyse wholesale sales and account performance – timely reporting to Brand Manager
  • Timely trade meetings/calls with accounts/distributors to potentialize sales – feedback account product requests as required
  • Liaise with Customer Care & Ops Function with regards to free to sell reports and any other trade opportunities to potentialize sales
  • End of season negotiations
  • Any other miscellaneous responsibilities that relate to sales.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • You can be either from the Sales or Buying background. You will have at least 3 to 4 years’ experience in buying or selling fashion apparel, mainly sports/street/athleisure
  • Ideally you would have worked in or sold: Urban Outfitters, ASOS, Zalando or any similar Fashion Retailers or Etailers.
  • Problem-Solving – ability to identify issues or faults behind why sales aren’t coming in. The ability to make decisions quickly and effectively, as well as the ability to process information clearly and accurately
  • Leadership – ability to motivate the Team to work towards shared sales targets and strategies
  • Customer Focus – ability to build relationships with accounts/distributors, putting them at the forefront of strategies and plans.
  • Computer Skills – ability to utilise datasheets and produce presentations
  • Numeracy Skills – strong numeracy skills and the ability to analyse data and sales reports and forecast accordingly.
  • Experience in working with European Retailers/Etailers is an advantage, but not necessary.
