Account Manager

One of our clients, an established supplier to supermarkets, high street retailers and fast fashion brands, is currently looking for an Account Manager to come on board to work across their Men's woven department. If you have at least 3 years' experience working in the same role for a UK based supplier and are looking for a new challenge, this could be a great opportunity for you.

The Role:

  • Reporting in to the Key Account Manager, work closely with the Design team to develop product according to Buyer requirements
  • Liaise with the Far Eastern factories to negotiate costs, manage margins and confirm orders
  • Meet with Buyers, to showcase new products and close sales
  • Troubleshoot any production issues and find quick and efficient resolutions
  • Manage the critical path with the support of merchandising teams to ensure all specific requirements are adhered to

The Ideal Candidate:

  • At least 3 years' experience working as an Account Manager for a supplier to the UK high street
  • Experience working with Far Eastern factories and with Men's Woven; must have an interest in product development
  • Diligent, meticulous and able to work in a fast-paced environment maintaining a high standard of efficiency
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a decisive character
  • Confident, tenacious and willing to learn
