Account Manager - Primark, George and C&A

About the Company

Our client is a large supplier to the high street turning over £30m a year. Sourced from the far east including India, Bangladesh and China their products include jersey, knits, wovens and outerwear sold to Arcadia Group, Primark, River Island, NEXT, George, ASOS etc.

A growing business, they are looking for an experienced account manager to support Primark, George and C&A. 

About the Role

  • To manage Primark (Dublin), George (Lutterworth) and C&A (Brussels) accounts and grow the business
  • Liaise with buyers to develop new pipeline and deliver on orders
  • Work closely with merchandisers on costs and initial requirements
  • Find new ideas by working closely with designers, factories and mills
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure fits and other customer requirements are met
  • Responsible for achieving sales and margin targets

About the person

  • You will have worked with Primark, George or C&A as a Account Manager with good knowledge of their business and processes. You could have worked for them in their buying function as well. You could be a designer/product developer, now with a proven sales background who has worked and built relationships within these retailers already
  • You will have good network within these organisations
  • You are product development focused
  • Dynamic, flexible and able to travel frequently. George is in Lutterworth, so you will need to be able to drive
  • Good team player
