Account Manager Overview

Our client, a textiles specialist who design and supply quality products, are looking for an Account Manager to join their expanding team.

 

Account Manager Responsibilities

  • Report into the Business Developer Manager
  • Manage existing accounts and increase sales, building a strong rapport with the Buyers and representing the company’s brand values
  • Use commercial acumen and strong numerical skills to product accurate products costings
  • Prepare formal tender bids
  • Create sales presentations
  • Collate data to produce precise costings
  • Work closely with the in-house designers to produce commercial, innovative products
  • Communicate with customers in face to face meetings, and via phone and email

 

 

Account Manager Skills and Experience

 

  • Textiles experience is essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, being the main point of contact for the customers
  • IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
