The business is experiencing year on year growth and are constantly seeking opportunities in new markets whilst developing business within existing.
The Assistant Buyer / Account Manager will support the Wholesale Buying team with operational support including Purchase Order management, Sales Support, and Buying and Selling performance strategies. Must have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role and business and speak fluent French!
Strategic execution of the buying and selling strategy within the wholesale luxury eyewear sector, driving performance and contributing to growth across the business.
Support the daily operational functions within the wholesale buying team.
Provide administrative support to the buying team covering all issues, queries and support.
Responsible for creating customer offers, product lists and financials.
Raising Purchase Orders and PO tracking and packing management; ensure PO’s are delivered in on time in order to meet customers PO deadlines and strict packing requirements.
Maintain all internal customer and supplier files with accurate information updates and financial information.
Buying, sales, after sales and support.
Managing supplier and customer requirements throughout the buying and selling process.
Assist in managing the daily admin duties to support client’s suppliers and the team.
Manage the creation and logging of all invoices.
Maintain supplier and customer files.
Assist the General Manager managing the offsite warehouses (Italy. UK and USA) and managing the global logistics partners and movement of goods worldwide.
Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience within a similar role and business is a must!
Multi-lingual (fluent within French) is a must!
Talented and enthusiastic with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced buying and selling environment, flexible and open to change with the ability to think outside the box.
Strong self-motivation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a strong work ethic and passion for product.
Strong organisation and time management skills with the ability to plan, and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
In depth Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.
Excellent commercial awareness in the luxury wholesale market, flexible in nature and willingness to deliver.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Confident with a good, clear telephone manner.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
