Business Development Manager West Yorkshire

Our clients are a well established , highly respectable business who have now instructed us to search for an experienced Business Development Manager to join this exciting company. You will have a proven track record in Business Development and have the ability to build excellent rapports a  fabric technical background would be highly desirable for this role or knowledge in fabric testing from a sales perspective.

Job Role:

To take the lead in building our long-term business development initiatives to drive sustainable sales growth across clearly defined market segments.

To develop close relationships with important decision makers and influencers at key strategic accounts (retailers, independent laboratories) and act as a company ambassador, effectively representing the company in-line with the business Core Values and supporting sales channel partners in delivering the company value proposition. To also act as a key source of market intelligence for the business, utilizing different stakeholders to obtain critical information on the external environment that can be used to make strategic decisions for the future direction of the business.

Actively market the company materials testing solutions, focusing on key strategic growth markets and segments to deliver sustainable sales growth in these categories.

Effectively develop and manage the key account sales opportunity pipeline, working closely with the ISMs, Sales Channel Partners and target brand customers to generate more sales opportunities and influence win/loss performance for sustainable sales growth.

Maximise key account opportunities within the Apparel and non-Apparel sectors, developing and delivering tactical and strategic plans for those accounts and working closely with ISMs and Sales Directors to maximize commercial opportunities globally via a coordinated commercial approach.

INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL IS REQUIRED , MUST IDEALLY LIVE IN THE WEST YORKSHIRE REGION.
