Job Description – Colour Management Technician

Role description:
As part of the team, and based in Cambridge, the Colour Management Technician will play an integral role in supporting
the day-to-day operations in Cambridge and the colour lab in Norwich, UK. The ideal candidate should be looking for a
new challenge in a fast-moving, collaborative environment and has significant experience in colouration that spans both
laboratory and large-scale industrial situations. Colorifix is looking for a candidate who enjoys multidisciplinary teamwork,
takes on challenges, and shows flexibility, creativity, and enthusiasm.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
â Administration of all Master Shades both in sample copy and colour data.
â Visual and instrumental analysis of all shade production.
â Accurately communicate colour management to all divisions
â Assist in the general operation of the pilot dyehouse, including machine monitoring, compilation of reports,
Role Requirements:
â Expert colour vision
â 3+ years experience in colour management
â Very good knowledge and experience in instrumental colour measurement and assessment.
â Understanding of dyeing and finishing of textiles would be advantageous.
â You are highly organised with strong attention to detail, with the ability to plan, design and have fixed deadlines.
â Experience in problem-solving skills and the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.

Remuneration: 24-26k Dependant on experience
