Commercial Product Director

The Position

This major supplier of fashion clothing are seeking a Commercial Product  Director to lead the creative & commercial teams for ladies and men’s fashion clothing.

Responsibilities:

As Commercial Product Director  you will be responsible for developing and  agreeing the strategies to implement & support sales growth.

Providing clear communication to the creative team on  requirements to deliver on trend product  designs that reflect the needs of the different retail customers, within the UK and across Europe.

Maintaining an acute market awareness and recognition of new market trends and areas for potential growth

Take responsibility for key presentations to major retail clients and  for building  strong ongoing business relationships. Resolving day to day problems relating to production and delivery.

Accountability for achieving sales growth and margins and for opening new business channels.

Who are you?

A person who is accustomed to operating at a senior management level with a strong young fashion  background . An in depth understanding of garment construction, fabrics and sourcing.  Preference will be for experience that includes young  casual product & lounge wear for men or women.  A strong multiple fashion Buying Management  background will be of interest, or previous experience as a Commercial Director with a supplier. 

Previous experience of leading and managing people across multi disciplines is essential .
