Our client is a design and manufacturer of Fashion and Branded accessories with a portfolio of private label customers and their own branded division. They are looking for a Head of Brand to deliver sustainable growth to the business. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a dynamic and well-established community centric business, driving growth of our brand division as well as leading the launch of a new premium brand into the market.
Head of Brand - The Role:
• You’ll be ultimately responsible for growing sales across our brand division
• Launching a new premium brand - You’ll use your existing network and knowledge to help us bring on new customers and leads
• You will manage, develop, and motivate a team of experienced designers, sales executives, brand managers and merchandisers
• You would be responsible for building the brand division strategy, creating an in-year plan for delivery, alongside long-term financial planning.
• P&L responsibility to ensure the division grows fast but sustainably and profitably; track performance to monitor performance, identify risks and find opportunities.
• Actively manage key accounts, whilst empowering and supporting the sales team
• Create and execute a launch plan across the UK and overseas. Use existing and new clients and build our brand presence and network.
• Support and guide your designers to create a seasonal range strategy and identify category opportunities
• Support the merchandising team to build strong relationships with our global supply base. Lead high level negotiations when required.
• Engage and motivate agent partners; keep them excited about the brands and NPD; motivate them to succeed
Head of Brand - The Candidate:
• An experienced salesperson with a minimum of 10 years’ experience (at least 5 as a Senior Sales/Commercial Manager).
• Capable people manager – track record of leading and coaching a successful team.
• Enthusiastic in nature with the ability to motivate those around them
• Experience of working in a consumer led brand across menswear, across direct to consumer as well as wholesale.
• An integral member of senior leadership, driving business decisions.
• Strong financial modelling skills – proficient at advanced excel.
• Experience of working with premium brands with an international reach ideally within the menswear or gifting sector.
• Proven communication and negotiation skills.
• Entrepreneurial and adaptive to change.
• Organised and a self-starter, able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Right to work in UK essential.
