Denim Design Lead

An exciting opportunity has come up for a head of denim design to join a global manufacturer based in Bangladesh.
The group are currently going through expansion, and are looking for someone to take the lead on denim design for the UK/EU markets.

The role:
• Lead the design of denim collections across womenswear, menswear and childrenswear
• Work closely with the sales director to ensure commercial collections are available
• Attend customer meetings
• Work closely with the factories in Bangladesh, and be able to travel frequently there

To be successful in this role, you will have strong denim experience within the UK / EU market, working for a well-known retailers.
You will be a hands on designer, with a commercial portfolio. You will have excellent communications skills and be able to build strong internal and external relationships.

There is a competitive salary on offer, however, although a permanent full time contract you will be self-employed. There is a bonus scheme, but more importantly you will be part of a business in an exciting period of growth and development. This role will also require extensive travel to Bangladesh and customer meetings.
