Wholesale Manager - Brands

 

Our client is a mid-market fashion brand with a sporty style (activewear, swimwear, skiwear collections). In addition, they own licenses to distribute third-party brands in the UK and Europe. 

They are looking for an experienced and pro-active Sales Manager who will be able to strategise, drive and grow their wholesale business.

The emphasis of the new role will be opening new doors whilst growing and nurturing the existing accounts. 

Wholesale Manager - The Role:

  • Maximising sales by growing international distribution, opening new and developing existing accounts

  • Ensuring growth is sustainable and by constantly improving account sell throughs

  • Developing a long-term sales growth strategy

  • Working closely with all departments across the business to ensure that orders and stock are managed efficiently and follows company's growth strategy

  • Planning and organising showrooms and any relevant trade fairs

  • End of season and ongoing analysis of sales

Wholesale Manager - The Candidate:

  • Wholesale Manager within a brand (men/women/children) preferably apparel or experience in sales within a brand licensing set up 

  • Solid experience and understanding of UK and European markets, preferably with strong relationships with at least one of the following - ASOS, El Corte Ingles, Galeries Lafayette

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills

  • A team player with a dynamic approach
