This reputable company are recruiting an Import Merchandiser & Shipping Assistant to join their team.
The Import Merchandiser & Shipping Assistant will be responsible for:
- Accurately update the PLM system with delivery and shipping information
- Ensure all relevant colleagues in the different warehouse are made aware of any delays and discrepancies with the shipping
- Manage costings with freight forwarders
- Reporting into the Shipping Manager with any queries and updates
The Import Merchandiser & Shipping Administrator will desirably demonstrate the following skills:
- Read reports and interpret the data
- Attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft suite, including Word and Excel
The Import Merchandiser & Shipping Administrator should have relevant experience having worked with freight forwarders before and understand the various shipping documents.
