A very exciting opportunity has become available for a Marketing Director with Fragrance or luxury goods industry experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global distributer and retailer of luxury fragrance. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a strategic partner for the company, taking charge of planning, developing, and executing the marketing strategy and initiatives. Reporting directly to the COO, your primary objective will be to drive growth through the implementation of a winning marketing strategy.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Define marketing strategies to support the company's overall vision and objectives;
- Collaborate and lead across the organisation, bringing your insights to cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership;
- Develop and implement the annual marketing calendar for new product launches and the distribution strategy;
- Coordinate the smooth rollout of all new products, ensuring effective online and offline activations;
- Optimise product assortment across all channels;
- Define and execute merchandising and sampling strategies;
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis on product assortment, rankings, and new launches to inform decision-making;
- Supervise local market activities, handle operator requests and oversee event planning;
- Ensure in-store marketing plans align with brand focus and are properly executed;
- Oversee social media activities to ensure alignment with overall strategy;
- Supervise online presence for all distributors and retailers;
- Develop and coordinate new training tools as needed, while ensuring all training materials are current and relevant;
- Provide graphic design support, including imagery re sizing and video creation for various marketing initiatives.
Person Specifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing or related field;
- 7+ years of experience in marketing strategy and operations, preferably in a fast-paced environment;
- Experience in the fragrance, cosmetics or luxury goods industry is essential
- Strong strategic thinking abilities along with a result-driven, hands-on approach and a proactive "can-do" mindset;
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams;
- High analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions;
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
