An opportunity for an experienced Merchandiser to join a young, dynamic and successful supplier to well-known UK retailers. The candidate will need to have strong communication skills and have a flair for spotting opportunities for developing sales with fast moving lines. The workplace is an exciting positive culture working with a busy and fast paced team across all departments from product development, technical as well as world-wide factories.

 Key Responsibilities:-

 Perform weekly meetings with the merchandising, QA and sales teams.
Negotiating price and deliveries.
Close monitoring of the accounts for large volumes.
Reporting factory performance and order status, factory base China, Vietnam, Cambodia and Bangladesh. 
Managing production volume.
Production planning focusing on capacity to avoid overload with factories.
Shipping and logistics meetings to consolidate shipments.
Handling of claims with factories and liaising with accounts team.
Managing and raising purchase orders.
Monitoring the critical path including lab dips submissions, approvals, samples (development and productions) prices and ensuring on time fabric delivery and garment production.
Dialoguing with factories and customers across email and phone.
Working closely with garment technical and sales in advising if there are any delays or amendments so that the critical path can be amended.
Analytically and commercially minded looking at opportunities to repeat orders on fast selling product lines.
Ensuring customer order programs are maintained thoroughly and efficiently, regular meetings with clients.
Setting departmental performance objectives for each merchandiser.

Key Requirements:-

Excellent Excel skills.
Strong communicator.
A good understanding of the supply side and has worked in the supply sector.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Organised and able to make informed decisions quickly.
Able to work under pressure.
Confident and outgoing with a can-do attitude.
Excellent attention to detail.
