London based luxury fashion house is looking for a head of product merchandising to join it's team. Looking for someone with fantastic product and analytical experience to work together with the relevant design and production team to play a primary role in the achievement of the mens and womens footwear categories.
This role is responsible for contributing, defining and implementing relevant product strategy to develop the footwear collections in line with the overall product strategy, brand image, fashion vision, quality standards, and worldwide market needs.
Role overview:
o Support the design team in the development of collections,
o Find the optimal balance between design vision and commercial goals, in line with regional variances.
o Develop and propose global footwear product strategy with the creative lead of the creative director
o Execute competitive analysis (product mix and pricing), sales analysis and develop the pricing strategy.
o Develop the “merchandising grid”, which defines the offer structure of each footwear collection
o Manage the merchandising mix of footwear product categories
o Monitor replenishment of continuation items
o Post-sales campaign reporting
o Responsible for raw material bulk orders, sales projections in order to achieve target deliveries.
o Reviews all regional OTB, sales plans, and order/re-order schedules
o Liaise with the supply chain and operations/production departments to
Assure the necessary stock production in line with sale trend and for potential best selling products
o Overall margin responsibility
o Monitor sales feedback
o Co-operate in range planning in partnership with chief product officer
The ideal candidate:
o You will have experience gained in a fashion product merchandising environment with an understanding of the global luxury sector
o Strong analytical and reporting skills, advanced Excel knowledge essential
o You will have strong attention to detail, great organisational skills and works to a high level of accuracy
