Production Client Coordinator
As Production Client Coordinator you will be liaising between top-tier designer brands, vendors and an international QA team based in multiple European countries. The main focus is to ensure that critical path milestones are achieved, each customer tracker is accurately updated and customers are updated during quality assurance inspections and alerted when issues arise.
Daily tasks include updating the tracker status, accurately translating any non-standard comments from Italian into English and vice versa, submitting information to customers and answering any queries and liaising with the QA teams in multiple European countries.
As a luxury fashion services company specialising in luxury fashion, the company provides a bespoke quality assurance service tailored to individual customer requirements comprising all or any of the following services: Factory Evaluation, Quality Assurance Process Analysis, Production Monitoring, Product Engineering, In-Line inspections & Finished Final Product Inspection.
Customers include growing and established international luxury brands and premium retailers. The goal is to ensure that through a series of checks, the final product meets or exceeds the client's expectations in both quality and excellence for all fashion categories including apparel, leather goods, knitwear, shoes, jewellery and accessories.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of fashion industry experience and must be fully fluent in both spoken and written English and Italian. The role will suit someone from an account management, production, BOM, technical, QA or merchandising background who enjoys being the link between the customer and the team, is highly personable and has an aptitude for updating product information.
This is an office-based role, the nearest tubes are Turnham Green and Chiswick Park.
Main responsibilities
- Update daily both the client and internal management systems QA critical path demonstrating excellent attention to detail and an affinity for accuracy.
- Action and manage any queries flagging to the team for support where required.
- Ensure each customer tracker is accurately updated daily with the latest comments or actions.
- Chase and issue responses to any customer queries, comments or requests.
- Check and update tech packs and workbooks where required.
- Accurately translate non-standard comments on reports where required from Italian to English.
- Accurately translate tech pack comments from English to Italian where necessary and possible.
- Ensure Excel spreadsheets are up to date and accurate.
- Answer queries from the QA teams where and when possible.
- Work closely with the team on priorities.
- Liaise daily with client teams including designers, QA, QC, Product Engineering and Product Development and with factories across Europe.
Essential Skills
- A minimum of 2-3 years of fashion industry experience as an Account Manager / BOM Coordinator / Production / Technical / QA or Merchandising position.
- Bi-Lingual Italian and English verbal and written communication is essential.
- Proficient use of Word, Excel (intermediate) and PowerPoint, Photoshop.
- Proficiency in product management software programs such as PLM, S400 or Stealth.
- Numerical mind and logical thinker.
- Ability to prioritise workload and adhere to critical path timescales.
- Strong time management skills.
- Excellent follow-up and completion of tasks.
- Solutions-focused, well organised with strong attention to detail.
- Positive, proactive and effective communication skills.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
