Production Merchandiser

Our client is a well known ladieswear design and manufacturing business based in London.  Established for over 20 years, they are now in need of a new Wholesale Merchandiser to join the team.

The company is a fashion supplier to Online retailers/Brands. Such as Asos, Monsoon, Roman, New Look, Simply Be, In The style and Miss Selfridge.

They supply young fashion led garments across both jersey and Woven. We are currently looking to recruit a production merchandiser to join are current production team. This is a fast-paced environment, and the ideal candidate would need to thrive under pressure, have good problem-solving skills and well as paying attention to details

Duties include:

Responsible for own account, from raising the order to delivery following the critical path

Liaising with the buying teams, confirming details of order & delivery

Managing and updating of the critical path, to ensure deliveries are met.

Liaising with fabric agents/suppliers - UK and overseas to oversee orders are on time

Chasing up approvals, fabric/trims

Advising buyers of problem/ changes

Candidate will have

Preferably 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced supplier environment

Excellent communication skills

Be a team player

Can work on own initiative

Numerate & analytical
