For a self motivated , Sales / Account Manager professional. We are seeking an enthusiastic, confident individual to join our Sales team. You must be a great communicator, & highly self-motivated is paramount , You will actively seek out new opportunities and be able to work independently, whilst also keeping up to date & in sync with the wider team. 4 +years sales experience is essential, along with the drive and ambition to exceed sales targets and grow sales within their territory. Amenable and with the ability to establish excellent working relationships at all levels and within our Sales team , need to be able to work under pressure, with a high level of attention to detail and to meet deadlines. A quick learner , clothing and project management experience would be an advantage.
Normal base/place of work will be your home address with the back-up of our sales office in Ireland
Outline of the role for Business Development Manager:
To manage existing accounts within a designated region, which may also include national coverage for multi-sited accounts, which may entail overnight stays away from home.
To maintain and develop relationships with current accounts, to get the best possible sales and turnover from them.
To look at new opportunities with existing accounts and to open as many new accounts as possible within a designated geographical area.
To attend exhibitions and conferences as a representative of Brand
To attend joint presentations with clients as required, at your discretion.
To liaise with the company sales office and Sales Director, to update them and make them aware of any issues that may arise. To act upon any issues relating to your accounts that have been highlighted to you by the sales office.
To follow up any leads that have been generated by the website, sales office or other means.
To negotiate and quote prices, discounts, terms and any special requirements (following company guidelines). And to update the sales office with any special prices or term agreed.
To project manage bespoke orders with the support of other members of the team.
To play an active part in the development of the brands and product development.
To cover for other sales team members who might be out of the business for holidays etc.
To be an important member of a small team who aim to provide products of exceptional quality and great customer service.
Job description for Business Development Manager
Area – Midlands
Salary – negotiable along with bonus scheme
Hours of work – Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm
