Our client has an excellent reputation as a major international employer. They are part of a global group and a world leader in the design, development and sourcing of consumer goods with a vast product range that includes ladies, mens and childrens fashion apparel. They now have an opening for a Sales Manager to work on their Footwear business.
In this role you will manage own-label footwear accounts for UK high street customers; building and developing long term, sustainable, International wholesale business in line with brand strategy to achieve set sales targets and strategic objectives on an annual basis. You will have an in-depth account knowledge and will develop strong business relationships with each customer and will be the brand specialist.
You will manage your Accounts end to end – Retail, E-Commerce, Franchise, owning the brand and reviewing all sales analysis, stock levels and identifying growth opportunities whilst delivering the brand distribution strategy and understanding key drivers to delivering sales targets. You will work with the Sales Director on securing new business opportunities, understanding the requirements across each new customer and determine all new account trading terms. You will support Agents and Distributors in delivering the brand strategy across their markets, provide account specific seasonal requirements and ensure the brand is consistent across all stores. The role will include partnering with E-Commerce teams to improve brand profiles and sales conversions and actioning regular offsite strategy meetings with account buying teams. You will also regularly review the sales forecast and weekly sales by styles providing monthly/quarterly reports for the management team for all accounts and markets.
Previous experience in a Sales Management role managing own label footwear for High Street customers is essential. Excellent communication and analytical skills are required as is the ability to build effective partnerships and interact successfully with individuals at all levels. You must have a professional work ethic and be a collaborative team player – concerned with team success as well as individual performance.
