Sales Manager - UK Markets

A London based mid-sized supplier to the UK market is seeking a Sales Manager to grow their UK business. Sourcing from all over Asia, the business sells into supermarkets and high street retailers in the UK. Main product category is Womenswear.

They need someone with strong connections with buyers in the UK market (a door opener), experience of selling commercial mainstream high street products and working with manufacturing in the far east.

Sales Manager - The ideal candidate:

• Will be a senior sales leader/commercial leader with strong experience of working with UK high street and supermarket accounts and proven track record of opening new accounts and growing existing ones
• Will have a good eye for product and trends and be able to manage and motivate a design team
• Will come from a supplier background and be able to demonstrate commercial achievements around revenue, margins, lead times, etc. You could also come from a Buying/Trading background keen to build a career in Sales/Account Management.
• Will have good management skills and be a self starter.
