This successful business are seeking a Senior Account Manager for men’s fashion to work with major UK retailers.
A background within wholesale / private label will be ideal .
The Responsibilities will include:
Presenting product and attending regular meetings with the retail buyers .
Working with the Director to deliver sales and margin targets
Collaborating with the in house design and technical team to ensure appropriate design briefs are delivered .
Managing time frames for product sampling
Negotiating prices with the buyers and agreeing trade terms
Liaising and visiting the overseas suppliers as required
Keeping up to date with market trends with product and fabrics
Resolving problems .
Providing direction to a small team
You will need to have a strong fashion account management background ad may currently be working as an Account Manager or Sales Manager.
Previous experience with men’ s clothing is preferred and ideally with casual product. Wholesale / private label experience essential .
It is important that you have worked with major High Street retailers or Supermarket Groups and have an excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes along with a love of fashion!
Good commercial acumen and IT skills along with previous people management is required .
