Senior Designer - Contemporary Womenswear

In this Senior Womenswear Designer role you will be involved in the launch of the womenswear range of a thriving fashion brand. This is a rare opportunity to join a driven, inspiring and ambitious team based in central London.

The Company:

• Thriving accessories brand that is stocked in all key luxury retailers globally
• About to launch their womens range
• Head Office based in London with team members coming from a wide range of luxury fashion houses

The Role:

• You will be responsible for the conceptualisation and design of the RTW womenswear collection as well as supporting with the handbag range, from concept to completion
• Research seasonal themes and inspirations, in collaboration with the Creative Director and the Design team
• Working with the Designer Assistants on sketching and handing off designs to factory for pre-collections and collection launches
• Overseeing and supporting the updating of collection, style and mood boards on a regular basis
• Participate in the fittings in-house and at the manufacturer

The Candidate:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in womenswear - must have a background working for an elevated contemporary or luxury fashion brand to be considered
• Skilled with Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong understanding of the luxury and contemporary womenswear market
• A team player, an excellent communicator with a positive attitude
• Experienced in in trend research, including high street and premium brand trend analyse with a view to producing trend reports
• Experience working with high volume markets

The Package:

• Salary between £45-50k
