Import Merchandiser

Our loyal client is a supplier of fashion to the high street and supermarkets and they are looking for an Import Merchandiser to join their team. The Import Merchandiser will be working on ladieswear ranges and some childrenswear.

The responsibilities of the Import Merchandiser involve:

  • Managing the critical path and ensuring deliveries are on schedule
  • Liaising with the factories in the Far East
    • Raising purchase orders
    • Chasing upcoming samples
    • Informing them of customer feedback an amendment with samples
  • Working closely with the high street and supermarket customers
    • Obtaining approvals
    • Lab dips
    • Strike offs

The Import Merchandiser should have some experience working in a similar, fast paced environments and have a proactive and dedicated approach to work. IT skills are also essential for the Import Merchandiser role.
