Shipping and Logistics Coordinator
Roles and Responsibilities:
Arrange clearance of all sea freight and airfreight goods
Planning, managing, and chasing supplier deliveries as per ETD agreed
Check and authorise shipments and Airfreight requests, and update schedules
Check all arrivals and liaise with freight forwarders and 3PL to book in shipments
Monitor and record shipping and air schedules
Update clearance status and amend delivery status
Provide clearance / delivery instructions i.e. tariff codes, duty rates and VAT liability information
Administer all documents and file them for clearance procedures
Produce weekly intake report updating all aspects of schedule of delivery arrivals
Receipt of shipping documents and update the ERP system with original documents
Distribution of documents to relevant parties, including exports to enable clearance / delivery
Manage shipping forecast and maintain custom tariff
Manage duty deferment statements, identify all transactions and also provide copies to bought ledger
Investigate for all discrepancies on delivery
Identify all transactions in relation to VAT certificates
Prepare export documentations and arrange shipments where applicable
Trouble shoot any shipment or delivery related issues.
Experience and Skills Required:
At least 2-4 years’ good experience as Shipping administrator / Shipping coordinator /Logistics administrator
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Outlook
Must have very good organisational skills
Good knowledge of supply chain industry
Good communication skills.
Previous roles in any of the fields below is preferable

Salary: Up to £35,000 - Depending on Experience.
