Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management:

•    Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their hiring needs, company culture, and business objectives.
•    Collaborate with clients to develop comprehensive job descriptions and specifications.
•    Provide guidance to clients on market trends, recruitment strategies, and best practices.
•    Regularly update clients on the progress of their recruitment assignments and manage their expectations.

Candidate Sourcing and Evaluation:

•    Utilize various sourcing channels (online job boards, social media, networking, referrals, etc.) to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
•    Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and fit for specific positions.
•    Conduct in-depth interviews, assess candidates' competencies, and evaluate their suitability for specific roles.
•    Conduct reference checks and verify candidates' credentials, ensuring their qualifications and experience match client requirements.

Recruitment Process Management:

•    Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate shortlisting, interview coordination, and offer negotiation.
•    Effectively use applicant tracking systems (ATS) or other recruitment software to track candidate progress and maintain accurate candidate records.
•    Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and clients, providing timely feedback and guidance to both parties.
•    Facilitate the negotiation and acceptance of job offers, ensuring a smooth transition for the candidate.

Market Research & Networking:

•    Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and changes in employment legislation that may impact recruitment processes.
•    Build and maintain a strong network of industry professionals, attending networking events and leveraging personal and professional connections.
•    Proactively source potential candidates through networking, referrals, and other means to build a pipeline of top talent.
Administrative & Documentation Tasks:

•    Prepare and present candidate shortlists and detailed profiles to clients, highlighting the candidates' skills and suitability for specific positions.
•    Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and client records in compliance with data protection regulations.
•    Generate regular reports on recruitment activities, including candidate status, hiring metrics, and market insights.

Requirements:

  • Industry relevant experience gained in either a retail or head office based role preferred.
  • Talent Acquisition/Recruitment experience preferred but not essential.
  • Genuine passion and interest in the fashion, beauty and direct to consumer industries. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and candidates.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities to facilitate job offers and candidate acceptance.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
  • Familiar with MS Office – Word, Excel etc
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting recruitment targets and deadlines.
