Wholesale Merchandiser (Customer Service and Operations) required for a leading global brand. 

THE JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Wholesale Merchandiser (Customer Service and Operations), you will work with strategic key accounts and directional independent accounts. You liaise with international suppliers to ensure timely deliveries of goods to the client. You will resolve any arising issues. You will be a proactive, diligent and energetic individual with excellent organisational and communication skills.

  • Undertaking the ownership of the Customer Service and Operations.

    Creating style numbers, receiving and uploading sales orders.

    Confirming the sales orders, pricing and delivery windows.

    Uploading Sales orders in the ERP system.

    Getting and sending all the required order information such as, bar code information, anti-counterfeit label order, packing information and shipping information.

    Managing the delivery process of product to all UK customers (on DDP basis) and Distributors or other Licensees (on FOB$ basis).

    Working closely with Operations Manager to monitor and push deliveries from source to UK warehouse.

    Liaising with key accounts to plan and book all deliveries.

    Working closely with warehouse manager to coordinate workload of warehouse, send through pick notes, forward key account delivery bookings.

    Preparing and circulating delivery status reports on weekly basis.

    Managing and circulating free to sell reports.

    Dealing with day to day customer queries.

    Dealing with day to day sales agent queries.

    Helping with preparation and execution of sales launches.

    Setting up price lists.

    Working closely with the Finance and Credit Control team on collection of debts and account reconciliations.

    Raising Purchase orders for sales samples.

    Sending sample invoices.

    Sending samples directly to the brand owner.

    Giving shipping instructions for sales samples.

    Processing sales order for samples and goods.

    Overseeing Logistics for UK allocations.

    Monitoring sales order forms.

    Maintaining Special Make Up and Core line pricing files.

    Liaising with shipping department.

    Reporting on variance report on inbound and outbound goods.

    Following prescribed returns policy.

    Reviewing payment terms and following them through.

    Carrying out Style, Supplier and Customer setups in the STYLEman ERP system.

    Providing regular management report on sales, purchase, commission and free to sell stock.

    Any other miscellaneous activities relating to Customer Service and Operations.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • At least 3-4 years’ experience in Operations/ Production or Supply Chain Co-ordination experience in the apparel/fashion industry
  • Experience of working with overseas factories. 
  • Experience on FOB shipments and shipping documentations required from China, India, Indonesia and Turkey sources for exporting to the UK, EU, Middle-East and USA.
  • Good team player with ability to work independently with a great work ethic and ability to take on additional tasks when necessary
  • Experience on using Spreadsheets, Pivot Tables and having any other relevant analytical skills for reporting will be an advantage.
