Wholesale Regional Manager
As the Wholesale Regional Manager for East Anglia and neighbouring areas, you will be responsible for selling 6 annual wholesale collections to key retailers and independent stores.
This field-based role (with admin time from home) represents an impact-focused Danish womenswear brand defined by timeless, vibrant, feminine premium affordable fashion with an emphasis on playful yet sophisticated designs in high-quality fabrics that prioritise lasting quality and sustainable initiatives with the use of organic cotton, viscose and recycled polyester.
Driving growth in your territory in line with sales targets is key to the role, identifying new business opportunities whilst developing existing wholesale distribution. Reporting to the Country Manager, you will lead sales appointments in the showrooms, at hotel shows, digitally and through regular customer visits onboarding key retailers and independent stores and boutiques whilst maximising in-season trading to exceed budget expectations.
The successful individual will be an ambitious Senior Sales Executive, Senior Account Manager or Wholesale Manager currently living and working in the UK with a full clean driving license and at least 5 years of experience in fashion wholesale specialising in womenswear, working with UK-based boutiques and stores.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Performance:
- Drive business growth identifying new business opportunities whilst developing and optimising existing wholesale distribution in a region working to seasonal targets.
- Present seasonal collections to customers and customise for each store playing to their strengths.
- Monitor weekly sales performance, reacting to opportunities to maximise sell-through and replenishment.
- Achieve sales targets by developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the needs of each customer.
- As a field-based role being out on the road will be fundamental to identifying new opportunities and approaching and building relationships with new customers.
- Strengthen the brand market position demonstrating excellent knowledge of upcoming styles and trends.
- Maintain strong customer relationships acting as the main point of contact for inventory, performance monitoring and client requests.
- Ensure clear communication and coordination with all stakeholders to align on business goals and market needs.
- Collaborate with the Wholesale Customer Service Advisor who ensures the timely delivery of shipments every Thursday and resolves any client issues.
- Support stores with in-store events and training where required.
- Represent the brand at trade fairs.
Wholesale Reporting:
- Participate in weekly Teams sales meetings updating the UK team on sales, product and market performance.
- Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly sales reports and sales analysis.
Market Planning & Execution:
- Lead pre-, in-season and post-market activities.
- Manage the sales appointments calendar for your region.
- Prepare the sales collection for market showing in the London or Hale showrooms or designated hotel space in Bury St Edmunds.
- Review and confirm sales orders, ensuring accuracy liaising with clients on order confirmations.
- Coordinate the development and distribution of sales materials, including online merchandise, pack shots and marketing assets.
Cross-Functional Teamwork:
- Work collaboratively with the UK sales team to ensure tasks are efficiently handled and offer guidance and support when needed.
- Regular collaboration with the UK Customer Service Advisor based in the London Showroom.
- Attend weekly Teams meetings and in-person meetings twice a year including the annual international brand event.
Essential Skills:
- Senior Sales Executive or Wholesale Manager with at least 5 years of experience in fashion wholesale.
- Excellent commercial acumen with a proven track record in managing and growing wholesale business understanding the needs and potential of different stores and boutiques.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills; able to manage internal and external relationships effectively.
- Strong understanding of wholesale, sales cycles, inventory management and client relationship management.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and act on performance insights.
- A hands-on, results-driven, proactive self-starter.
- Strong organisation and multitasking skills.
- The ability to work autonomously in a field-based role maintaining excellent communication with clients and colleagues.
- Experience working with wholesale management software such as Navision and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (data analysis, reporting) and PowerPoint.
- A full clean UK driving license is essential.
