Buyer - The Candidate:
*Proven buying experience in Womenswear.
*Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
*Demonstrate a working knowledge of the competitive market place and the ability to identify trends.
*PC skills and a good level of numeracy are essential.
*Confident in managing junior staff.
*Strong commercial eye.

Buyer - The Role:
*Monitor performance of the brand against plan, proposing appropriate action to maximise sales and profit.
*Evaluate market, sales history and customer information together with forward trends to develop the department's strategy.
*Develop and agree plans in partnership with the Merchandiser that achieve sales and profit targets.
*Support range presentations across departments as required. Ensure product quality is to agreed standards.
*Work with other internal departments to develop, source and improve our product ranges. This will include planning and developing ranges for future seasons.
*Manage internal relationships with functions such as QA, Marketing and Merchandising ensuring that our product offering is in line with company objectives.
