We are looking for a creative, culturally aware, and enthusiastic Junior Designer / Photographer to join our growing Marketing team. This role supports Bradshaw Taylor and its portfolio of brands, offering an excellent opportunity for a graduate or someone with experience in a similar position to develop their skills within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, a passion for visual storytelling, and an interest in photography and content creation. Alongside design work, the role will occasionally involve studio photography, including flat lays and authentic, social-first content creation.

Reporting to the Creative Lead, you will work closely with internal stakeholders across the business to develop creative solutions that meet brand and commercial objectives. As an independent company, our team works across a diverse range of projects, so we are looking for someone who brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to contribute wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create engaging and effective design assets across a variety of digital and print media.
  • Support the marketing and creative teams in the delivery of campaigns and projects.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure creative briefs are executed successfully.
  • Assist with video editing and content production where required.
  • Support photography projects, including studio product photography, flat lays, and social content creation.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all creative outputs.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging creative techniques, bringing fresh ideas to the team.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • A degree in Graphic Design, Creative Media, Photography, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. Skills in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop are essential, good working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
  • A keen eye for detail, strong layout and typography skills, and good image retouching abilities.
  • Understanding of brand identity and the importance of adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive, proactive, and flexible approach with a strong team ethic.

Desirable

  • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Interest or experience in photography and content creation.
  • Understanding of web design principles and digital performance.
  • Experience working within a fashion, apparel, lifestyle, or retail environment.
  • Photography portfolio demonstrating product, lifestyle, or studio work.

What We're Looking For

Contract Details:

  • Salary: Range £28,000 to £30,000 commensurate with skills, experience and or qualifications.

  • Contract: Full-time role, working 5 days between Monday to Friday. Hybrid working; but you must be able to attend site at the Head Office in Oakham, Rutland LE15 6EA at least three days a week. You must be eligible to work in the UK.

  • Benefits:28 days holiday rising to a maximum of 33 days with service. With generous brand discounts.
