We are working with a well-known start-up fashion brand at an exciting time of growth, who are looking for a Product Developer & Junior Buyer to join their expanding team.
This is a dynamic and hands-on role sitting at the heart of the product team, supporting the Head of Product across day-to-day product development, supplier management, samples, approvals and critical path. The successful candidate will have real ownership across range building, product development, supplier relationships, fit, trade insight and delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone currently working at Junior Buyer, Assistant Buyer or Product Developer level who is ready for their next step and looking to take on more autonomy within a fast-paced, ambitious brand. They offer hybrid working and the chance to make a real impact as the business continues to scale.

Main responsibilities will include:

* Supporting the Head of Product with range building and developing specific product categories
* Maintaining range plans and design development sheets across seasonal collections
* Analysing sales and inventory data, presenting insights and recommendations to optimise the product mix
* Supporting weekly and monthly trade meetings with data pulls, trade callouts and best/worst seller analysis
* Carrying out market and competitor research to identify future trends and product opportunities
* Managing the critical path from initial development through to delivery, keeping schedules on track
* Managing sample processes, labelling, trackers and ensuring samples are ready for meetings
* Liaising with suppliers day to day, chasing samples, lab dips, trims and approvals, while flagging risks early

Person specification:

* Previous buying or product development experience, ideally at Junior Buyer, Assistant Buyer or Product Developer level
* Strong understanding of product critical paths, lead times and garment development
* Highly organised and detail-focused, with the ability to manage trackers, samples and approvals accurately
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn sales and inventory data into clear recommendations
* Confident, proactive and commercially aware, with strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
