Due to on-going expansion, a fashion-focused retailer has a new vacancy available for a Jewellery Buyer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Sourcing and developing innovative product ranges from the UK and Far East
- Liaising with the Design team and supply partners to meet all the requirements of the concept
- Range reviews
- Monitoring competitor activity
- Negotiating supplier contracts
- Management of a small team
The ideal candidate will be:
- From a strong Product Development background who has been accountable for buying their own ranges
- An established Buyer from either a Fashion Jewellery, Accessories or Ladies Fashion Retail Buying background
- Have recent experience of travelling and sourcing directly from the Far East
- Articulate and confident with excellent negotiation and presentation skills
