Permanent Area Manager needed in the South West, £25,000-31,000 salary reporting to Operations Manager

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated, commercial and enthusiastic Area Manager to join a rapidly expanding fast food restaurant brand. The brand has a history of providing a wide choice of great tasting food and has recently enjoyed a period of huge growth and development, making this a stimulating and fast moving environment to work in. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, you will have the opportunity to make key decisions that really impact on the business, whilst developing your own skill set and gaining exposure to progress your career.
Your new role
You will provide overall leadership and management for all aspects of the company in the South West covering a maximum of 10 stores and a headcount of up to 150. You will create and deliver annual operational plans in line with the organisation's strategic plan and ensure long-term financial sustainability. You will drive sales and maximise profitability whilst reducing loss, taking advantage of sales opportunities and liaising with your Operations Manager and colleagues to ensure the correct stock and replenishment are available in each store. You will also receive specific training to ensure you are developing the people in your teams.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be motivated with a 'can-do' approach, as well as being adaptable and able to think on your feet. Commercial acumen is key in order to make decisions quickly on a daily basis, as is the ability to recognise potential issues in order to deal with them quickly and efficiently. You must have a background in Multi Site Management, ideally from a hospitality or food retail background having managed a large area previously, ideally 5-10 stores in order to be considered for this role. It is imperative that you hold a full UK Driver's License.
