Established Merchandiser - Footwear

The UKs coolest footwear brand as voted for by Vogue readers are looking for an established and competent merchandiser to join their dynamic footwear team! KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Established Merchandiser - Footwear

  • Regular analysis of department performance in order to maximise commercial opportunities.
  • Work closely with buyer during the planning process and in season to ensure optimum mix of brands by door.
  • Provide all necessary analysis to create robust plans pre-buying season.
  • Manage intake and OTB to deliver stock targets for the department.
  • Manage and develop junior staff Achieve budgeted margin and sell through.
  • Manage both good and poor performance, review and develop direct reporting.
  • Achieve forecasted stock turn. Plan commitment to achieve the agreed monthly stock targets.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Established Merchandiser - Footwear

  • The successful candidates will already be an established and experienced Merchandiser within footwear or fashion.
  • Previous experience within Kidswear is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience with branded product within a fashion business is preferred.
  • Highly analytical and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering planned sales and margin targets.
  • You must have strong attention to detail, with a logical and mathematical approach to problem solving.
  • You will have strong reporting skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
