About The Role
As Store Manager, youll lead and manage all in-store activities to achieve sales and profitability goals, as well as ensure long-term business growth.
Maintain the operating budget through revenue generation and managing controllable in order to deliver a positive financial performance.
Ensure consistent implementation of operating standards, including product flow planning and completion, execution of markdowns, seasonal promotions and initiatives and merchandise presentation.
This opportunity also involves providing relevant market information to our Area Manager and consistent leadership to your staff.
Recruit and hire top talent, provide ongoing coaching and counselling, implement development strategies, create succession plans, and effectively manage performance and corrective action processes in order to drive Organisational Talent Planning.
To drive sales and maximise profit opportunities for the store and to ensure the Sales & Management team continuously aim to achieve all KPIs.
To identify areas and opportunities for improvement in product ranges by working closely with Buying & Merchandising teams to sustain maximum commerciality across the business.
3-5 years retail experience at the management level in a fast pace high street brand, managing a high number of staff and store turnover of several million
Operational experience as well as managing a busy shop floor in terms of customer service and staff performance
Experienced in driving sales, maximising profit and ensuring the team are driving KPIs
Inspire and lead your team to deliver high standards of customer service
Good training and development capabilities and follow company standards
Good visual skills ensuring the store is merchandised to the highest standard
Manage stock and customer demands looking at new seasons
To maintain financial reports, figures and product information
Managed high turnovers and large teams
Strong training and development skills including employee recruitment, training, disciplinaries, dismissal and conduct
