Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate who possesses excellent organisational and numerical skills to join our Retail Head Office team as a Retail Stock Coordinator. Reporting to the Retail Operations Manager and working between our head office in Battersea and the retail stores, this role is pivotal in supporting the Retail team.

The successful candidate will manage and control the stock levels, deliveries and transfers within Retail. This will include focussing on maintaining accurate stock visibility, controlling all stock handling procedures in and out of the stores and helping to maximise sales and minimise stock loss through monitoring of stock movement. This will also include Warehouse, inter-store and customer returned goods.

The Ideal Candidate
*Support stores on receiving deliveries, reconciling delivery notes and investigating discrepancies.
*Check and chase late deliveries and minuses generated daily and follow up unsolved issues until resolved or corrected. Monitor and report problematic deliveries and transfers liaising daily/weekly with the IT team.
*Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved.
*Be responsible for managing, running and planning annual stock takes and end of season stock pack up.
*Manage retail inventory to ensure integrity and accuracy of the stock system day to day, plan and support in-store and remote cyclical stock checks, executing inventory control measures to ensure the company minimises stock loss.
*Organise all aspects of paperwork relating to stock processes, managing store stock folders and cyclical count spreadsheets.
*Building relationships with stores and head office departments through regular communication and feedback.
*Communicate effectively with store managers on daily basis, giving and receiving constructive feedback.
*Work collaboratively with store managers to manage display and damaged bins and sample and faulty stock movements.
*To oversee and conduct stock management and basic point of sale (tablet) training for retail staff. This will include induction days for new managers, Retail-J training workshops and training. Ensure user manuals for retail users are up to date and maintained.
*Working with the Retail Operations Manager and the IT team to create updated or create new stock related KPIs.
Personal Specification
*At least two years' experience of stock management in a retail environment.
*Flexible approach to working days and hours to meet the business and job specification needs.
*Strong analytical, numerical and problem solving skills.
*Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, knowledge of SAP B1 and Retail-J is an advantage.
*Good verbal and written communication skills for a demanding working environment.
*Excellent organisational and prioritising skills
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team but also able to use initiative to problem solve.
*Positive and outgoing with a solution-oriented attitude.
