Your new company

Our client is a luxury leather goods retailer looking for a successful and driven Flagship Store Manager to join their team and support in the running of their Flagship store. Our client has been around for over 50 years and is a very recognisable brand who are incredibly well-established within their field. They currently sell clothing, accessories and have a ready to wear collection. The company prides itself on building long lasting personal relationships with customers through offering a combination of unique product paired with an exceptional customer experience. Our client is looking for an ideal candidate who will be able to manage their store as if it were their own business, ensuring the store runs efficiently, effectively and profitably. The candidate will be able to place customer service at the forefront of everything they do.

Your new role

As a Flagship Store Manager you will be responsible for managing and promoting the store in accordance with company procedures. You also oversee the implementation of the management's strategy for boosting the store's turnover. Your duties include;

  • You will be sales driven, working hard to ensure your team are delivering all KPI targets set (turnover, customer loyalty, UPT, AUR, ATV, sell-through, service).
  • You will possess great commercial awareness, looking to monitor and review category performance at any given opportunity and maximise profitability through cost control, producing a weekly business report to feedback to Senior Management.
  • Being accountable for the recruitment, training, performance management and development of your team.
  • Opening and closing of the store, monitoring cash flow and managing deliveries.
  • Using the retail space to the best advantage in accordance with merchandising concepts and guidelines.
  • Will take personal responsibility for ensuring a smooth sales process, particularly in the case of high-potential customers.
  • Suggesting and implementing any corrective measures required to increase sales (merchandising, stock, CRM, team motivation).
  • Organising and structuring the work of the sales team, particularly through involvement in sales.
  • Leading team meetings and ensuring that internal and external messages are clearly understood.
  • Your duties also include developing the customer portfolio and delivering an impeccable customer experience.
  • Setting up a clienteling strategy to build a high-quality customer portfolio and identify high-potential customers.
  • Taking part in the trade show: purchasing goods for the collection, analysing and tracking the budget.
  • Organise and conduct annual and rolling stock- takes and will ensure the stocks and stockrooms are well organised and monitored.

What you'll need to succeed


In order to be considered for this exciting role, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:

  • Have previously worked as a Flagship Manager within either a Premium/Luxury environment.
  • Passion for luxury goods and experience with either Premium/Luxury and high-priced items
  • Experience of one to one customer services in a UK sales environment
  • Impeccable personal presentation and good manners
  • A strong team player, have a can-do attitude
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills
  • You will need to work a variety of shift patterns so flexibility is required.
  • You will be a great communicator, resilient and motivated to deliver results beyond expectation.
  • You must be natural and welcoming with customers, putting them at the heart of whatever you do
  • Be able to travel within Europe for 1-2 weeks (initial training only).
