Position Overview:
Support the Product Team to deliver a right-first-time product that fits consistently, meets legal and quality requirements, lands to critical path, and protects margin.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Product Team with day-to-day product fit development across categories
- Prep and assist during fit sessions and note-taking
- Measure samples accurately and prepare fit logs
- Write clear, commercially realistic fitting comments for suppliers
- Review and assess samples from prototype to production stages against agreed fit, construction, and quality standards
- Maintain fit consistency across the range adhering to grade rules
- Tech Pack creation and updates
- Maintain product records, approvals and lab test certificates
- Chase, organise and prioritise sample flow to critical path
- Assist in collating and reviewing test reports
- Support post-production QC checks, wearer trials and customer feedback
Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Fashion / Clothing Tech / Product Development or 1 year+ relevant industry experience (can be placement year)
- Confident understanding of pattern, fit, construction and basic grading
- Able to measure garments, compare to size spec and identify cause/solution
- Can write clear, supplier-usable tech comments
- Organised, good attention to detail, can prioritise against Critical Path milestones
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
Systems / tools
- Experience with using a PLM or similar is beneficial but not required
- Excel, Word, Outlook
- Adobe Illustrator
