Assistant Manager – Support and Lead with Britain’s Oldest Brewer!

As an Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the General Manager to run the pub efficiently, lead the team, and deliver outstanding hospitality. Where You’ll Be Working

This historic pub with rooms, which dates back to 1867, boasts a prominent position at the top of the High Street. It has recently undergone an extensive transformation, retaining its unique character while introducing a stylish look and feel.

What You’ll Do

Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations, including opening and closing duties.

Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional service and uphold company standards.

Assist with staff training, development, and performance management.

Manage stock control, ordering, and cost efficiency.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Handle customer queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Contribute ideas to improve service and business performance.
