Business Unit Head

About the Business

A mid-sized manufacturer of Denim garments (Up to 300,000 pieces a month) in Bangladesh is seeking a Business Unit Head to manage the operations including its P&L. 

The Business Unit Head will have a marketing/sales/business development background and will be responsible for the P&L of the unit. 

The role is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh

Business Unit Head - The Role:

• Manage the P&L of the manufacturing unit
• Lead the business development and marketing of the business
• Manage the operations working closely with the Heads of manufacturing, merchandising, technical and administration
• Responsible for the successful running of the unit

Business Unit Head - The Person: 

The ideal candidate will 

• have marketing/business Development experience preferably Denims
• have experience in leading teams
• be commercial, thorough with prices and costings
• be an effective communicator
