Have you had experience as an intern or placement year ideally with a supplier or high street retailer.

Design Assistant role new in and ready to be filled immediately by a recent fashion graduate.

I am delighted to be working the one of the leading womenswear suppliers to the UK fashion high street, they are actively looking to recruit a Design Assistant on young fashion womenswear to work on their Accounts. You will cover all areas of Womenswear both Jersey and Wovens Department to include leisure, lounge, activewear and sleepwear, dresses and separates  young fashion trend led and commercial strong on both shape and print!

Design Assistant/Assistant Designer 

With  experience which could be from internship, placement year with a supplier or high street brand or retailer!
Have to be strong at CAD, Adobe Suite, and creating tech-packs and technical drawings.

Sound knowledge of garment construction either through experience or fashion design degree

Main Duties:

·Working on CAD, Photoshop Illustrator 

·Provide support to the Senior Designers on Womenswear

·Support and assist the designers on Tech packs

·Prepare designs for approval on both print and shape

Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required:

• Recent Fashion Design Degree, recent graduate
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. 
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organisational skills including ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.
• CAD, Photoshop and illustrator are essential.

As these are recent Junior roles you will be working in the Fashion head office with the Design Team on-site Monday to Friday.
